oooops. it's been since november since i posted. i don't have a computer at home and when i'm at my friends i always forget to go online. i don't mind that at all but sometimes i get freaked out that i won't know about something that happened if i don't go on. i found out about chris on here. so to my fre4inds, if anything happens that you think i might be interested in give me a call if i dont respond. same number as forever ago. other than that, i became single upon my arrival back in the states and there hasn't been anyone since then to spark my interest in the least bit. i've really only been hanging out with my friends. its been really awesome. i can't believe how crazy some people get about the opposite sex. it's sooooo unattractive. if only i could redo that euro-trip single. hahaha. oh well. for my birthday polly, her hubby, jason, brian and i drove to a lovely place around mount shasta called dunsmuir. it was realllly pretty. it snowed the entire time we were there. we had a house that polly borrowed from a co-worker so it was all fun, food and snowball fights. best birthday i can think of in a long time. the pictures are cool too. jason has them so maybe i'll put them up somewhere later. i miss you old san diego bitches. |

I hope everyone down south is doing okay. i've barely spoken to my family but i think they are fine. the nephews and sister in law are at my moms. last time i talked to my brother he said he'd be at work or on call indefinitely. on a better note, i leave next wednesday. fuck yeah! euro trip 2007 will ruuuule. |

i live in a studio by myself now. i have no internet access. i check my online stuff once a week if i can find time and someone to let me use their computer. simons out of town so i'm catsitting my babiesssss!!!!! i love them!!!!!!!!!!!! work rules. kind of. haha. i miss listening to music. i have to get a record player. i have a receiver and someones giving me speakers but i havent listened to anything i've craved since we broke up. AND i dont really have any of the records that i listened to the most. i miss his records. aggggggh. oh well. i'll buy them.... eventually. i need a vacation pretty badly. i wish polly could go on vacations with me. it would be soooo fun but thats never gonna happen. i've been planning on going to england in november. maybe i'll buy tickets and that will go through. then i could go to germany to see Rike too. i need to get my shit together. i just got called while dead asleep by jason and lars to pick them up to get a piece of pie from nations for jasons birthday since they're way too drunk to drive. i did it...naturally. and even in my jammies. AND the wastoids made me a poster that says "ERIKA FOREVER! MODED PIE!" hahahaha. its almost 3 am and now i'm totally awake. DAMMIT. oh well, whatever. i dont have work tomorrow which is why i even considered it in the first place. what to do?! |

i decided i'd give you guys some kitty pictures. mieszko and agnieszka: king and queen chewties! she has a water fetish. she takes baths with me and jumps in the shower sometimes.  he's really fast like a tiger.  i grew catgrass for them for healthy digestion.  massage day.  i love him!  i also have pictures of agnieszka sitting on simons shoulder while hes on the computer but for some reason it wont acknowledge the prescence of the camera. she likes to do that to us. shes amazing. |

last weekend was fairly enjoyable. ubaldo, his wife tina, vicki, and brandon came up from san diego for that reunion show at gilman. they came into my work on sunday along with a bunch of other people to get a head start on the new years eve drunk wagon. i was on board as well. haha. simon had a fire at home and then we went to jasons party. it was fun except i was dying from coughing all night and then threw up so we went home. i went to the doctors today since i couldnt go a minute at work yesterday without coughing. when i wasnt coughing i just had a really heavy painful feeling in my chest and couldnt take full breaths. i have bronchitis. awesome. i'm calling in sick for the shift i was covering for someone tomorrow night. i'm contagious. that means that no one wants me to get them sick and no customers want me to hack into their beer and food. i kind of feel bad because i think i was the only person who could BUT i think theres at least one other person who COULD but just doesnt want to. so i'll let them deal with it while i get all freaky on this codine syrup and let the antibiotics kick in. |

simon got me a zounds hoodie from aaron. suhhhweeet. pablo is also screenprinting a doom longsleeve and an ent one. weeeee. works been awesome. i'm finally doing really well financially again. and speaking of qhich i need to email you ( angie) about maybe making an artsy fartsy or 2 for me for moneeeeyz if you still need some dough. i volunteered to help the brewers again today. bottling beer.....again. i really like being on that side tho. no people. just listening to tunes and talking smack about the people on the other side of the glass. i would, however, liek a day or 2 off to go on a short trip. i still havent explored all teh places in northern california that i've wanted to. and now i'm off to have the most delicious crab enchiladas of all my bonertime dreams. our anniversary went well. went out for german food. yummmmyyyy. simon was wasted on his bday but he didnt show his penis!! surprise!!! works been awesome. serious tippage. yesterday was my day with the brewers which consisted of us starting to drink at 9.30 and taking shots of rum. i got to wear rain boots and at the end of the day i was wasted and had to get inside this gigantic kettle and clean it. it was crazy. i did more than that but thast the jistof it. polly is going to do hers today so i'm just gonna go in and hang out and drink with them hahaha. work ruuuuules. we got our kitten early because nickie was going crazy with all the pets. mieszko loves it here and didnt act weirded out at all. WE LOOOVE HIIIM i got hired at peets on 4th street and while working heather called to offer me a job at triple rock. sooo i quit peets and will be starting at triple rock on monday. wooooo hooooo. i'm almost done with the fish shaped quilt i started for mieszko. our 2 year anniversary is on the 21st. what should we do? simons bday is on thursday and we were planning on going camping in big sir on the 24th and 25th with a big group of people that are going to see witchcraft. we're backing out tho so i can work and make money because i'm soooo broke. tips are amazing there. i'm so happy. |

i'm finally getting over my cold. my belly button incision has been hurting and going numb. i don't like it. i planted some violas and catnip and cat grass the other day. i've also been busy in the kitchen. simon and i neglected to go grocery shopping for almost a month, except for random purchases, so we took care of that earlier in this week. we would have not got out to eat all week except jason wanted me to go to fresh choice( souplantation type place) with him yesterday. i don't mind though, we took a pretty drive around montclair and saw 6 deer total. i sold more clothes at buffalo exchange. i've made 60 bucks off of them total but only 20 yesterday. i'm glad i'm desperate for money because i've now gotten rid of a lot of things that i haven't worn in ages and things that don't fit. i donated almost all of the things that they didn't take so i wouldnt have to take them home and shove them in some drawer. i need a job and i need to not feel stupid and underqualified for any and everything. |

so as of yesterday my body is in a crapped out shock mode. i guess it went through a lot these past couple of weeks. i feel like death. i'm still going to go out to see asunder and aldebaran tonight. i'm supposed to hang out with tim while he's down but i feel like shit and i figure showing up to see his band and then saying i feel like my body is going to die will be good enough for him. my aunt had a kidney transplant 22 years ago and its failing now. her insurance wont cover her kidney transplant unless she goes through dialysis first which is exactly what she doesnt want to go through again. she has crazy scars all over her arms from it before. she got pulled over by the cops for speeding a couple times and thery thought she was some crazy hardcore junkie. i feel really bad for her. i'm gonna go lay down and try and save some energy. |

my friend nickies cat had babies about 4 and a half weeks ago. we went over and chose one on day number 2. their eyes were still closed and they tried to walk all cute and crawly but mostly were piled next to each other like in the womb. the one i wanted was taken and i was kind of bummed but the next time we went over nickie told us the girl didnt want him anymore so he was ourssss yay! his name is mieszko ( mee-esh-ko) after the first king of poland. i cant take pictures of them with a flash or it will damage their eyesight so the pictures are kind of dark. here's mieszko  ( Read more... ) |

not a lot has been going on here. we saw hellshock last night with facedowninshit and carl's (from hhig and dimlaia) new band ( drain the sky). they were raaaad. we snuck lucas into the 21+ asunder show on saturday and i think he popped a thousand boners but MAN do i HATE that fucking smoke machine they use sometimes. its not even the good kind that smells like marshmallows or anything. it just makes our contacts dry up. i applied at a salon. they seem to be fairly interested in me. the owner asked for an interview on the spot and then told me to come by last friday to just kind of check things out on a busy day. he called me that night and left this 5 minute long message about how i should come back and he was glad i came and so on. then on sunday the manager called to see if i could come in for an interview this morning but i didnt get it until this morning and i called but she didnt pick up but she said shed work around my schedule if i couldnt make it. it would be really nice to start making some money again. i forgot what its like to work full time and get a shitload of tips and all that. mmmmmm money. one of my many cousins from canada is going to be in san diego soon so my mom thought it would be REALLY NCIE if i could come down and see him so i booked tickets for simon and myself. he really hates san diego just because he was so miserable there but he admitted it would be fun. we're doing stuff that we both want to do there AND we're staying with shawnas parents. BONUS! that will DEF. make his trip better ( as well as mine) because staying with my mom is like staying with a ticking time bomb. we finally went grocery shopping so we can stop eating out when we're both short on cash. THANK GOODNESS. it kind of sucks the hunger out of you when you go somewhere and look at the menu and realize everything is soooo overpriced and you can make it at home for less. agggggh. getting this job wont happen soon enough. its weird to me how badly i want to work there. its not a SUPER fancy place but the cheapest haircut is 41 bucks and the cheapest price for single process color is 65. it could be a lot worse. i have to start over as an assistant too which was expected but the thing that sucks is they dont specialize and i was told that they definitely do color but they focus on cutting. good thing i focussed on color before right? they said if i am doing an awesome job with color they wouldnt hold me back tho so thats nice to hear but i just dont want to focus on cutting when i'm so much better at the other. you know? thats weeeeir.d they just called to schedule the second appointment again and she said the owners reeeally liked me and that i'm "looking good". hahaha. eeee. keep your fingers crossed. they like me a lot and i didnt even snazz myself up. i wore stretch jeans, an amebix shirt , and all black converse one day and they said they liked my look. sign me up. england&ireland
having a nice cup of tea on peoples graves in oxford.  raging drunk, pete and paco in sheffield  having a rager in dublin...i think. i honestly dont remember this and i'm guessing  rich, kiff, ian, chris outside hiding from the rain drinking looovely cider in sheffield  ian, ant, leon showing something off, pete, me, paco, keyleigh in leicester  walking in leicester  ian and pancho in sheffield at the place with good cider.  we walked all the way around that forest and up to the top of that peak. this was near fox house near sheffield.  there are more but those are the best ones. i had a lot of fun. hung out with old friends and met some new ones. it rained a lot and was sunny for maybe a day but not in the same day. WOOO! england and ireland! |
